(844) 396-5752 is one of a 'bank' of numbers [(844)- 396-5700 through (844) 396-5752, at least] issued by Verizon Wireless on 06/07/20 at 18:44 (6:44 PM) to an unknown user or company. It is likely that, these numbers are used by the unknown user's or company's employees to make mass 'cold calls' to random consumers' telephone numbers across the United States in an effort to 'hawk' a specific product or service. It is likely that the product or service being 'hawked' is bogus and therefore the calls from these numbers are intended to only deceive consumers and rip them off.
Three calls in the last 20 minutes or so. Robo call warning that there has been some activity with my icloud account & they want me to call their security number. They say not to use my apple device until I call them. No way am I calling them.
This number is linked to a Rental Insurance Company known as “Renties Insurance” which is located in London. Dubiously, the number is linked to a LycaMobile system. Here is the link to the insurance company and the number stated https://www.rentiesinsurance.com/agreements.asp
I got a text from 714-914-6260 stating that they tried to deliver something to me but no one was home, and left a link for me to click on to get info about the delivery, but I have been home all day and no one came to my door, and I’m not expecting anything to be delivered. So I believe it to be a scam. I’m not willing to click the link to find out.
This number is being given to contact for a bunch of phony rental ads across the country. In my case, the house actually WAS for rent just NOT by these people. The real listing had a completely different price, description, and (a legit) real estate company as well as a legit real estate agent with a local number.
